Galashiels man faces assault and offensive weapon charges
A GALASHIELS man has appeared in private at Selkirk Sheriff Court charged with assault.
Steven Lumsden is also accused of possession of an offensive weapon and causing malicious damage.
The offences are alleged to have happened in Galashiels in March.
The 39-year-old made no plea and the case was continued for further examination and he was released on bail by Sheriff Derrick McIntyre.
