SOME monster fun is guaranteed next week with the arrival of Little Shop of Horrors in Peebles.

Peebles High School's latest show is a sci-fi horror musical with an electrifying 1960s pop/rock score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman.

Seymour Krelbourn is a lonely floral assistant who dreams of a better life beyond his rotten Skid Row neighbourhood.

One day, Seymour stumbles across a rare and unusual plant, who he names Audrey II, after his co-worker crush.

But when Audrey II’s health is threatened, Seymour accidentally discovers the gory secret to keeping it alive - human blood.

This mean, green, monster-musical runs for three nights in Peebles High School from Tuesday, December 4 to Thursday, December 6.

Each evening's show starts at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 7pm.

Ticket,s costing £10 for adults and £5 for children, are available from the School Office and Cocoa Black in Peebles.
