A PEEBLES-based specialist law firm has promoted one of its leading lights to become a Partner.

Road Traffic Accident Law (Scotland), based at Cavalry Park, has strengthened its reputation as one of Scotland’s leading specialist personal injury firms with the promotion of Jodi Gordon.

Jodi joined the firm in 2010 and has made a name for herself representing cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians injured on Scotland’s roads.

During her time as an associate, Jodi has predominantly represented cyclists involved in road traffic collisions with a keen specialism in assisting those who have suffered serious and complex injuries.

Jodi also delivers training and educational talks to the cycling community.

And she appears regularly in the media as one of Scotland’s leading Cycle Law experts.

Jodi is also a Breeze Ambassador for British Cycling and recently set up the ‘Beltane Breeze’ group in Peebles to encourage ladies who would like to start cycling.

Brenda Mitchell, senior Partner at Road Traffic Accident Law (Scotland), told the Peeblesshire News: “I’m delighted to announce Jodi’s assumption to Partner.

"As a firm, we have always valued the highly specialist service we provide to vulnerable road users. Jodi is a very skilled and passionate lawyer.

"She joined the firm seven years ago as a trainee and thoroughly deserves this promotion.”
