A PEEBLES man will stand trial on a charge of being involved in a domestic disturbance.
Fifty five year old John Cassidy pleaded not guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing, punching a table whereby he was injured and throwing boxes around.
The offence is alleged to have happened at his home in Crookston Court, Peebles, on October 20.
A trial date has been fixed for April 11 at Selkirk Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on March 11.
