A PEEBLES man will stand trial on charges of being involved in two domestic disturbance.
Fifty five year old John Cassidy pleaded not guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing, punching a table whereby he was injured and throwing boxes around.
The offence is alleged to have happened at his home in Crookston Court, Peebles, on October 20.
He is also accused of threatening to harm his partner at a house in Cleland Avenue, Peebles, on January 11 and breaching bail conditions by contacting the woman when he was banned from doing so.
A trial date has been fixed for April 11 at Selkirk Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on March 11
