A GROUP of Peebles youngsters has put its craft skills to good use and created a piece of artwork made entirely out of plastic waste.
Craft Punks, part of Tweeddale Youth Action, created the 3D picture outside of the Eastgate Theatre on Saturday, January 19.
The activity was a collaboration between the youth group and voluntary group Tweedgreen aimed at highlighting the problem of plastic in our environment.
Organisers said passersby were fascinated by the process and were impressed with the final product.
