A 34-year-old man will stand trial later this month accused of making racist remarks in Peebles.
Lawrence Ward denies a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in Glensax Road on August 3 by shouting and swearing and making offensive and racist comments.
Ward, of Blackburn Road, Accrington, is due to stand trial on March 26 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
