BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a man and a woman who admitted drugs offences at Selkirk Sheriff Court.

Twenty-eight-year-old Ryan Sadler, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis at his home in Caddon Court, Innerleithen, on November 8.

Amy Brash, who is 21, of Castlehill, Peebles, admitted being in possession of cannabis with intent to supply in Innerleithen Road, Peebles, on December 13.

Sheriff Peter Paterson said they were serious offences and deferred sentence until April 23 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report "to see what alternatives there are to custody".
