A HAWICK nightclub employee has been charged with punching a man to the head to his injury and permanent disfigurement.
William Thomson, 41, is accused of assaulting Dominik Rakowski on December 30 at Base Nightclub in Baker Street, Hawick, in the course of his employment.
A trial date has been fixed for Thomson of St Michaels Bank, Peebles, for May 30 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on May 13.
