WORKS are being scheduled for road repairs in Craigerne Lane in Peebles.
Last month a member of the public raised the potholes on the stretch of road next to Peebles High School.
Councillor Robin Tatler admitted the condition of the road is “horrendous” and has arranged for jet-patching to be carried out.
Meanwhile over-gown hedges and trees in properties along Bonnington Road are said to be compromising pedestrian safety with the public being forced to walk on the road.
The local authority has written to neighbours, but Councillor Tatler said having visited the street he didn’t find it a problem.
