A 26-year-old man will stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court accused of being found on a Peeblesshire farm in circumstances which inferred he intended to commit theft.
David Chant of Ravens Brae, Livingston, denies the offence which is said to have happened at Lochard Farm, Blyth Bridge on August 20.
He also pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving by driving through a closed gate and damaging it, failing to stop and failing to report an accident to the police within 24 hours.
The trial is scheduled for June 20.
