Appeal after thieves steal mountain bike from van in Peebles
AN appeal has been launched after a mountain bike was stolen from a van in Peebles.
Thieves took the Rocky Mountain Instinct BC Edition bike from a black Ford Transit yesterday (Sunday).
The incident happened between 10pm and 9am near Peebles Hydro.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 1341 of June 9.
"Alternatively If you have any information about this, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org"
