A 79-year-old man has been charged with careless driving following a crash on the A72.
The incident happened at around 12.50pm on Thursday at Peebles.
Two drivers were taken to hospital following the collision which involved three vehicles.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police in the Scottish Borders were called to Innerleithen Road, Peebles around 12.50pm on June 6 following a collision between a Range Rover Evoque and a Volvo V40, following which a Land Rover Freeloader collided with the Evoque.
"Two drivers were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with minor injuries and the road was reopened around 3pm.
"The 79-year-old male driver of the Evoque has been charged with careless driving and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
