BOSSES at a Peeblesshire hotel have submitted details plans for a holiday lodge complex within their grounds.
Barony Castle near Eddleston was granted permission in principle for the lodges development two years.
This week a full application was tabled with Scottish Borders Council.
As well as 26 two- and three-bedroom wooden lodges, the application is for the refurbishment of a gatehouse as well as new access roads and parking bays.
It is claimed that the development will create a minimum of 25 jobs during construction and 13 permanent positions once the lodges are open.
Barony Castle Hotel, which is home to the iconic Map of Scotland, has undergone a major refurbishment in recent years.
The lodges application will be considered by planners over the coming weeks.
