TWO charities have received a cash boost thanks to efforts by organisers of the Manor Water Sheepdog Trials.
Earlier this year, committee members of the annual event held an open mic night raising £2,000.
And they recently presented a cheque for £1,500 to the Scottish Association Of Young Farmers Are Ewe Okay? mental health charity.
A total of £500 was also donated to the Margaret Kerr Unit at Borders General Hospital.
Committee members Jim Currie, Hayden Cameron, Jimmy Smellie, David Wallace, Becky Graham and Robert Barr presented the cheque for £1,500 to Abbie Barbour and Morgaine McKay from Peeblesshire Junior Agricultural Club.
