DETECTIVES have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries following the discovery of injuries to a toddler in Galashiels.
The one-year-old girl was taken to Borders General Hospital last Wednesday.
An investigation was launched and police carried doorstep enquiries around the Tweed Road area over the weekend.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the injury of a one-year-old girl from Galashiels.
"She was taken to the Borders General Hospital on Wednesday, September 4, and enquiries are ongoing."
