AFTER a sell-out performance in March this year, Borders Pub Theatre returns to Selkirk and Hawick for its second act.
With two performances this month - the first in the County Hotel, Selkirk on October 5 and the second in The Cornucopia Room, Hawick on October 12 - the home-grown theatre group will showcase local acting, writing and directing talent.
'Take 2' will feature all brand-new short plays from award winning playwright Jules Horne from Hawick among a team of others who have contributed to the two events.
Each semi-staged play will be performed by actors Emily Larner and Matthew Burgess and will be directed by Kate Nelson from the Nutshell Theatre.
Borders Pub Theatre was created after members took part in a two-year scheme organised by Playwright's Studio Scotland.
Both performances on October 5 and 12 will start at 7.30pm.
The County Hotel also boasts the addition of a raffle to the promised laughs of the evening.
Tickets are £4.50. Earlybird booking through Eventbrite gives you a 0.30p discount on the door. All payments are taken on the door.
