A Peebles man who admitted causing a disturbance at Borders General Hospital has been placed on supervision for the next two years.
Scott Gibson, 28, of Northgate, pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing in the accident and emergency department on February 9.
He also admitted stealing a £6 bottle of wine from McColls in the Old Town on July 3 and also Sainsburys in Peebles and was fined a total of £300.
