Christmas will arrive in Selkirk sooner than you think.
Next week volunteers will come together to prepare the town for the festive period by putting up all the lights.
Selkirk Illuminations have spent the last year fundraising to bring the Christmas lights to the town, hosting a summer beach party, disco, bingo night and coffee morning.
Then, on Friday, December 6 the Christmas lights switch-on will be a night to remember.
As well as turning on the lights, Market Place will have plenty to see and do, including charity stalls, a visit from Santa Clause and music which is sure to put everyone in a Christmassy mood.
And if that wasn't festive enough, there will also be an inflatable snow globe, which is perfect for those wintery pictures and the town will also get a visit from two very special guests.
Straight from Arendelle, Frozen's Anna and Elsa will bring some some Disney magic to Selkirk and will be around to take pictures with fans of all ages.
The Christmas lights switch-on will start at 6pm and food and drink will also be available on the night.
