SPORTY kids in Peeblesshire were jumping for joy this week thanks to a little help from their friends at Innerleithen Rotary Club.
The Rotarians raised money for the Peebles-based sports club for tots, which enabled them to buy new equipment for their fun-filled sessions with Laura Chrystie.
But the best part is, despite it being for a sporty cause members of the club didn’t even need to break a sweat and used brainpower by holding a fundraising quiz.
Sporty-Kids now have a gymnastic horizontal bar, crash mats for soft landings, and a new agility tunnel.
Laura said: “I am very appreciative to the rotary for the kind donation which will enhance the children physically and increase their confidence in gaining skills whilst enjoying their early years sports experience.”
