BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Peebles teenager who admitted a drug dealing charge.
The 17-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was found with cannabis valued at up to £2,400 at his Peebles home on October 4.
Sheriff Peter Paterson told him: "This is a serious matter and I am going to call for reports."
Sentence was deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court until January 13 for a Criminal Justice Social Work and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
