RIVER levels are expected to fall back today following last night's flooding issues across the region.
Low-lying land along the Lyne Water in Peeblesshire was affected during the early hours of this morning.
And standing water remains on the B7056 around Halmyre Mains.
A flood warning remains in place this morning for the Lyne Water.
And the warning also remains active for the Eddleston Water - particularly areas around Crossburn Caravan Park, March Street Lane, Cuddyside and Biggiesknowe in Peebles.
There are also difficult driving conditions due to standing water around Drumelzier and Dawyck due to standing water along the B712.
We have also received reports of deep pools of water on the back road between Innerleithen and Cardrona..
Low lying properties along the Teviot and Ettrick had to be protected last night due to high river levels.
And flood warnings remain in place for both areas - particularly around Denholm on the Teviot, and around Angecroft and Deephope on the Ettrick.
Although levels are reducing this morning there are pools of water on the B709 and B7009 in the Ettrick Valley.
