A 23-year-old man has been remanded in custody after being accused of assault to injury in an alleged domestic offence.
Kieren Davies, who gave an address in Kingsland Square, Peebles, pleaded not guilty and bail was refused.
He is already to stand trial on January 7 on a charge of assaulting his partner and threatening police with violence.
Davies denies the offences said to have happened at a house in Chirnside on July 26.
An intermediate diet has been fixed for December 23 and he was remanded in custody until then.
