AN INNERLEITHEN man took unwell in the dock at Selkirk Sheriff Court just moments after pleading guilty to a charge of driving a car while under the influence of drink or drugs.
Ryan Henderson, 35, of Miller Street, admitted the offence which happened on the A7 at Middleton on August 20.
He then complained of being unwell and an ambulance was summoned to the court to take him to Borders General Hospital for treatment.
Sentence was deferred until January 13 for the production of background reports.
An interim disqualification was also imposed.
