PEEBLESSHIRE Youth Trust have once again provided members of the community with Christmas gifts as part of their annual hamper programme.
Volunteers prepared 93 hampers, filled with donations, to share with families around Tweeddale.
The annual Christmas hamper programme is supported by local businesses, organisations, schools and churches and Peeblesshire Foodbank.
Over 50 volunteers gave their time to help pack the near 100 hampers, organise and deliver them to so many locations within a short space of time leading up to the Christmas break.
In previous years, Peebles High School was used as the Christmas Hamper packing headquarters, however, due to last month's fire in the school, this was not possible.
But, thanks to Mrs Wilson, Head Teacher of Kingsland Primary School, volunteers had plenty of space to complete the packaging of all the hampers.
Programme Manager of Peeblesshire Youth Trust, Sarah Keen, added: "We are delighted to be able to facilitate this Christmas Hamper programme, giving peace of mind to many local families at this special time of year.
"We are very grateful for all of the help and support that we have received over recent months, to make this possible for so many families across Tweeddale."
