POLICE found cannabis valued at more than £1300 when they raided the Peebles home of teenager Jack Dawkins.
A total of 165 grammes of the class B drug was found in the George Street property after officers had obtained a search warrant.
Dawkins, 18, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis although defence lawyer Ross Dow insisted he had only been selling the drugs to friends.
Sheriff Raymond McMenamin ordered Dawkins to carry out 125 hours unpaid work and placed him on supervision for 12 months as an alternative to custody.
