A TEENAGER has admitted making homophobic remarks towards police officers and struggling violently with them at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Nineteen year old Amber Lauder also pleaded guilty to three charges of police assault.
Lauder admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards police officers in Tulley Court, Galashiels, on July 28.
In a police van heading towards Hawick Police Station she repeatedly kicked a female police constable, bit her on the body and kicked a male officer on the body.
At Hawick Police Station Lauder kicked the same female officer on the body and swore at her before calling her a lesbian.
Lauder, of Bleachfield Road, Selkirk, had a difficult upbringing the court heard and she was described as vulnerable.
Sentence was deferred for three months for good behaviour.
