32-year-old admits smashing windscreen in Peebles
A PEEBLES man who smashed a window of a car with a brick or similar object has been fined £100 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Thomas Mitchell, 32, of North Street, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened in George Street, Peebles, on April 25.
He claimed he only reacted after a man had pulled a knife on him.
