40-year-old remanded following alleged weekend assault
A 40-year-old man has been remanded in custody after allegedly being involved in a domestic disturbance at a house in Duns during the weekend.
Martyn Postlethwaite of Oswald Street, Carlisle, appeared from custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and pleaded not guilty to charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, assault to injury and breach of bail.
A trial date has been fixed for March 19 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and bail was refused.
