Hay Lodge Hospital, Peebles
A VISITING ban has been introduced at Haylodge Community Hospital in Peebles.
And the neighbouring health centre will operate an emergency-only service from Monday.
A spokesperson for NHS Borders said: "As a precautionary measure and in order to protect our patients, staff and their families, visiting to Haylodge Community Hospital is suspended with immediate effect.
"We ask that the public respect this decision.
"For patients receiving end-of-life care, please discuss this with the senior charge nurse."
