Health workers have been 'confronted' while working in the community during the coronavirus outbreak, according to NHS Borders.
A Facebook post was published by the authority today (March 28) to highlight the issue.
The post reads: "Sadly we have heard reports of our community staff being confronted when they are out and about in their uniforms.
"These staff are not out of their ward in uniform, they work in wards without walls, caring for our patients in the community and keeping them safe. Please #BeKind."
