The number of coronavirus patients who have died in the Borders now stands at 17, up by three on last week.
NHS Borders released the latest figures at 1.53pm on April 6.
A total of 41 virus patients are being treated across NHS Borders hospitals, with a further 10 suspected cases awaiting results.
Meanwhile, there are seven people being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the Borders General Hospital (BGH).
A total of 17 patients have recovered from the virus and been discharged.
On Friday (April 3), the number of virus deaths in the region stood at 14.
Across Scotland, it was announced today (April 6), a total of 222 virus patients have died during the pandemic.
