Almost a third of NHS Borders staff tested for coronavirus have produced positive results.
The health board released the test figures at 1.53pm on April 6.
Since testing began on March 18, a total of 140 staff members have been checked.
Of those, 43 were found to have the virus, amounting to 30.7 per cent.
Meanwhile, 86 people returned negative results, with a further 11 results pending.
Across NHS Borders, there are around 3,500 employees, including bank staff.
