Police have received reports of children being exposed to "inappropriate behaviour" on Snapchat.
Scottish Borders Police published a tweet on May 7 flagging up the information.
The tweet reads: "We have received reports of children being exposed to inappropriate behaviour via online platforms including Snapchat."
The message included links to websites offering advice on how to keep youngsters safe online.
