A BORDERS woman has created a garden tribute to NHS workers battling coronavirus.
Mandi Bain, of Peebles, decorated a water feature in a salute to healthcare staff.
She told the Border Telegraph she is happy for anyone out on their daily walk to peek over her fence at the display.
She said: “Hopefully it will lift their spirits."
And green-fingered Mandi added: "If I’m in the garden, I’m more than happy to give advice on any wee gardening matter.”
Mandi's talents have previously seen her scoop awards run by Peebles in Bloom.
In 2019, she was the Crowning Lady for Peebles Beltane Festival - but she has retained the position this year due to the event's cancellation.
