BORDERS police seized drugs from a house in Galashiels today (May 14).
Officers exercising a search warrant recovered heroin and cannabis from the property in Gala Park.
In a Facebook post at 5.40pm, police said no-one had been arrested and enquiries were ongoing.
Sergeant Rourke, of the community action team, said: “During these operations you may see officers dressed in white suits, with face masks and other protective equipment
“This is nothing to be concerned about and is to afford our staff protection in relation to the current #COVID19 pandemic.”
A police spokesperson added: "If you have any information in relation to the misuse of drugs you can contact Police Scotland on 101.
"You can also report anonymously through crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
