BORDERS College has been forced to cancel its graduation ceremony – due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The event was scheduled for September.
But it is hoped the gathering will take place at a later date.
A spokesperson said: "It is with regret that Borders College has had to take the decision to postpone its annual Graduation Ceremony scheduled to take place in September 2020.
"We will continue to take health and safety advice and guidance from the Government relating to the management of events in light of the current COVID-19 crisis in our planning for the future.
"We know this will be very disappointing for all our students who are working hard towards completing their qualifications, however we look forward to celebrating with you all at a re-arranged event in the future."
