GALA rugby players have been thanked for helping to prepare a local golf course for reopening.
Torwoodlee Golf Club welcomed members back on Friday (May 29) after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon eased lockdown restrictions.
Club chairman Robin Brydon said greenkeepers had been helped by Gala RFC players.
He thanked the volunteers for their "great efforts" in rolling turf and raking bunkers.
Gala president Ian Dalgleish said: “We’d be delighted to help other local sports clubs and organisations in these times – get in touch."
