MORE people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Borders, bringing the total to 386 since March.
Scottish Government data, published today (September 8), shows that a further two cases have been recorded in the Borders since yesterday.
The health board’s Test and Protect team has been dealing with an outbreak in Hawick in recent days.
Across Scotland, there have been three more deaths linked to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the official statistics. It is the highest number of virus deaths in the country since June 30.
Every mainland health board in Scotland has recorded a new case in the last 24 hours.
