ONE new case of coronavirus has been recorded in the Borders.
The latest Scottish Government data was published at 2pm today (Thursday, October 1).
The increase in the last 24 hours brings the region's total number of cases since March to 515.
A total of 668 people have tested positive across Scotland overnight.
The total number of cases nationally now stands at 29,912.
As reported previously, the local health board says the tally includes some people who live outside the Borders.
