A FURTHER four people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Borders – as Scotland recorded 1,246 new cases overnight.
The latest Scottish Government data was published at 2pm today (Friday, October 9).
The increase in the last 24 hours brings the Borders' total number of cases since March to 564.

Health chiefs also confirmed six deaths have been recorded across the country.
The total number of cases nationally since March now stands at 37,033.
The total death toll for Scotland is now 2,544.
