The latest figures for the Borders have been published
FIVE new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
The latest update from Scottish Government was given at 2pm today (Friday, October 16).
These new cases bring the Borders' total number of cases since March to 605.
Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, there have been 1,196 new cases across Scotland and nine deaths.

Since the pandemic began there have been 45,232 positive cases of coronavirus in Scotland.
The total number of deaths nationally is now 2,594.
The number of Borders patients in hospital with the virus stays unchanged at five.
