TEN new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
The latest update from the Scottish Government was given at 2pm today (Wednesday, October 21).
Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, there have been 1,739 new cases and 28 deaths of people who tested positive in the last 28 days.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 50,903 positive cases across the country.
The total number of deaths nationally is now 2,653.
In the Borders, five people remain in hospital with coronavirus.
