THE Borders has recorded three new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Scottish Government data, published at 2pm today (Wednesday, October 28), stated the rise in cases.
Since March, the Borders has now recorded a total of 680 cases.
Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, the number of new cases stands at 1,202.
Nationally, there have been 28 deaths in the last 24 hours where coronavirus has been mentioned on the death certificate.
New data published today shows a death happened in the Borders last week.
There are currently fewer than five people in hospital in the region, down from seven yesterday.
