TEN new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
Scottish Government data, published at 2pm today (Thursday, October 29), stated the rise in cases.
Since March, the Borders has now recorded a total of 690 cases.
Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, the number of new cases stands at 1,128.

Nationally, there have been 37 deaths in the last 24 hours where coronavirus has been mentioned on the death certificate.
New data published yesterday shows a death happened in the Borders last week.
There are five people in hospital in the region.
