MORE than 800 cases of coronavirus have now been recorded in the Borders since the pandemic began.
Latest figures show that there have been a further eight positive tests in the region over the last 24 hours.
The data was released by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (Tuesday, November 10).
The total number of Borders cases since March is now 806.
Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, 39 new deaths have been recorded among people who tested positive in the last 28 days.
This brings Scotland's total number of COVID-19 deaths to 3,079.
Nationally, there have been 832 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The total number of Scottish cases since March is 75,187.
In the Borders, it remains that there are fewer than five patients in hospital with COVID-19.
