THE Borders has recorded a further 29 positive cases of coronavirus over the weekend.

Data released by the Scottish Government today (Monday, November 23) at 2pm revealed that the total number of cases in the Borders during the pandemic now stands at 950.

On Friday (November 20), the overall number of positive cases in the region since March was 921.

Now, for the fourth consecutive day, there are 11 people in hospital with the virus in the Borders.

Nationally, Scotland has now recorded 89,310 positive cases.
