A TEENAGE boy has been struck by a trailer in the Borders.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Tuesday in Jedburgh.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The collision occurred on Oxnam Road, whereby a 16-year-old male was struck by a trailer being towed possibly by a 4x4 vehicle.

"In particular we would like anybody who was driving whilst towing a trailer in this area and around this time to contact Police on 101 or by completing our online ‘Contact Us’ form quoting incident number 2888 of November 24.
