THE Borders has recorded 11 positive coronavirus cases in a 24-hour period.
Updated figures were released by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 10).
The total number of people in the region who have tested positive, since the pandemic began in March, now stands at 1,067.
There are also now 13 people in hospital in the Borders with the virus.
Nationally, 984 people are in hospital with COVID-19.
A total of 103,305 people have been diagnosed with the virus since March in Scotland – an increase of 933 on yesterday.
