A MAN has been jailed for 20 months after a knife attack in the Borders.
Colin George, 46, of Jedburgh, stabbed an innocent victim he believed owed him money, Selkirk Sheriff Court heard.
George confronted the 28-year-old about the alleged debt at a house in Howden Road, Jedburgh, on August 13.

Despite the man's protests over the mistaken identity, the victim suffered two stab wounds to his leg.
George pleaded guilty to a charge of assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement and attempted robbery.
The jail sentence was back-dated to August when George was first taken into custody.
